Nine years ago, on April 1, 2007; an article appeared in the Q-Section of the Chicago Tribune, written by Barbara Mahany. It began a landslide process of love. with the support of Amethel Parel-Sewell, Louise Belmont Skinner, Barbara Unikel, Jennifer Farrington, and Gregory Maire which led to “Michael’s Museum: A Curious Collection of Tiny Treasures” which in May, 2011 became a beloved, permanent exhibit at the Chicago Children’s Museum on Navy Pier. Happy April Fools Day! Happy Michael’s Museum! Happy Anniversary!
