A Collector Always Collects
Who says a collector who opens an exhibit in a children's museum with over one hundred and five collections consisting of hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of tiny treasures will stop collecting at his own home? Pictured here is a ceramic Japanese Fishing Village, antique from 1940's, displayed on an 8" round tile.

Jerusalem
Even though I am on "vacation" from Michael's Museum at Chicago Children's Museum, it is very much a part of my daily life! I have been receiving internet purchased "Little People" to add to one of the collections at MM, a friend continues to send me Series 7 Lego MiniFigures, and the item pictured below arrived at my door this morning.
Hank & Marilyn, neighbors/friends who live in my condo building just recently returned from an adventure in Israel. The brought back this beautiful menorah for me from Jerusalem. It measures 1.25" wide and 1.5" high. It will hold a place of honor in Michael's Museum. P.S. Did I say that I love getting little gifts?
